- Acute infection: This infection can last for many weeks and includes symptoms like fever, swollen-lymph nodes, inflammation of the throat etc.
- Latency: This stage sometimes involves few or no symptoms. It could last from two weeks to twenty years, the amount of time varies from person to person.
- AIDS: It is known as the final stage of HIV infection, which can cause various other diseases like opportunistic infections, cancer and other conditions.
SYMPTOMS And SIGNS:
- Fever: Person might get sick easily or often.
- Pain in body: Body get really week and person starts getting pain in all the body parts.
- Skin rash: These might seem simple body rashes but if the person is HIV positive they are not easily curable.
- Fatigue: Due to pain in body and fever, person feels that he/she is tired and don't feel like doing anything.
- Cough and Headache.
